Here is a rough depiction of me
I make everything on this site. My name is Curt.
I've been interested in all sorts of stuff. Early on, I wanted to be a writer. Around 8th grade, I got interested in drawing. Throughout highschool, I wanted to draw comic books.
I went to Columbia College studying Traditional Animation. I got into using Flash and programming via Actionscript.
I've accumulated a large amount of knowledge and experience with video games from the NES and SNEs eras. These games are what have the most influence on my own ideas. Since Flash lends itself nicely to these sort of games, it is a good medium for me.
When it comes to movies, I don't tend to watch anything very recent. I'm a big fan of the original Star Wars trilogy, Mad Max (the first one is a bit lame though), most films by Hayao Miyazaki, Robocop, Demolition Man, Army of Darkness, etc. Can you see the trend?
The majority of my books are either graphic novels or instructional books, but sometimes I enjoy a good read. Akira is perhaps my favorite graphic novel, followed by the Battle Royale series. My favorite book is probably American Skin, though I have not yet read Dune...
I also like music quite a bit. I play the stand up bass sometimes and I'm really into Rockabilly, Psychobilly, and first/second wave Ska.
