I used to work on an animated series when I was in highschool and early on in college. The premise was that there is a hero named Hiro. Hiro is a hapless well meaning type that thinks he is destined to become a great hero, but in actuality he often messes things up. On his quest, Hiro meets other similar characters that also fall short of the mark in their own way.
At this time, I was pretty into Homestar Runner, which inspired me to try my hand at a series, for better or worse. The big thing about this was tht I did all the voices, sound effects, music, etc. It was a pretty big thing for me at the time. I tried to create a series that operated in and by the rules the world of role playing games, but it ended up becoming more tedious (the turn based battles, for instance, worked as a one time novelty, but eventually just got stale). I stopped working on this awhile back (as in several years), but here are seven and a half episodes.
On another note, I've tried to use the Hiro character in other projects, such as side scrolling games. Perhaps someday he'll find a home.
