In the fall of 2008, I taught a class on Flash CS3. For this class, I devised a tutorial project to teach the class some basic animation concepts in flash. I used the simple "bouncing ball" exercise to teach them tweening, ease in and out, and even added some interactivity.
On the left, the ball can be moved by pressing the arrow buttons. On the right, the ball is controlled by the arrow keys (make sure you click on the one on the right to set the focus, otherwise it won't respond).
